Hi Chris,
I've shocked by this news.
I just told it to my family -
they are shocked too. Too sad to say anything. I just publish
this story on the site. I hope, you will join to them again.
But in any case, I want to say - we'll never forget your
great performance in Moscow. D... Russia
Hi Chris, this is the worst
news Ive heard in a long time, I started listening to Blackmore`s
Night because I was a long time fan of Ritchie`s, and I loved
Candice`s voice, but after hearing the great bootlegs with you
on violin, I have become just as big of fan if not bigger, of
your`s, you were what made Blackmore`s Night really come alive.
But I do understand your reason`s, and I wish you well, in everything
you do. I also hope that if Blackmore`s Night release`s anything
live that its with you, because without you it won`t be complete,
take care my friend... Best of luck!!

Hi Chris!
Guess you will receive a lot of mails this days, all about the same....I just read the news about you. What happened with Blackmore´s Night? I can only hope this was a decision made by your self cause I have always said "you are a brilliant musician" a carrier by your own could absolutely be something great for you. Otherwise, what a loss for the band!!! If you have the time, please write me some words and tell me how you´re doing....

Hi Chris! I'm really sad to
hear we won't meet you on the upcoming tour, but I also understand
the reasons for your decision. I will surely keep in touch and
wish you and your family good luck for everything, hoping to see
you again and listen to your wonderful music soon!! Take care
and write me whenever you like - I'll be always happy to hear

Dear Chris,
we all are very sad about
your departure. I don't think it'll be the same
thing without you. The music of BN have gained a lot thank to
your unique
musical talent....How can I forget your violin solo in Fires At
Midnight
during the Weissensee gig last year.....just amazing.....
BN lost its best talented musician (after Ritchie of course!Forgive
me!). BN
lost its best anf fresh line-up. I was very sad with the Mike's
departure
too, but your is very very sad. I was wondering getting around
in italian
pubs to have some beers together.....Maybe next time, my friend!
Take care Chris.
love,
M..., Italy
Dear Chris
It is sad that you are no longer a member of Blackmores Night.I
can only say thanks for some memorable on stage and off stage
contribution to the whole BN touring experience.
I thought that the enthusiasm and zest that you brought to the
live performances helped to make the shows all that more special,
and I am sure that you will be a difficult person to replace.
I read the interview with interest, as ********* had asked me
if I had any idea of some questions to ask you, so a few of my
questions crept into the interview.
In conclusion I wish you and your family all the best for the
future, and should you ever be in Scotland/Edinburgh, give me
a shout and we can go for a beer.

Hi Chris -
we were indeed aware of the
fact that you would not be with BN on the
upcoming tour. And you will be missed my friend! When we heard
about you
leaving BN, the first thing my wife said was: he's away from his
family too much. Since I expected that this had been a difficult
decission
for you, I did not ask you anything about this. I assumed you
would tell us
about it in your own good time.
I also hope that we'll stay in touch and that you'll keep us posted
on what
you're up to!

Dear Chris Devine
I saw you live last year two
times, in Oldenburg and in Copenhagen, and I
must say I was impressed by your excellent playing, - you also
seemed to be
a perfect match for Blackmore himself, doing fine solos and interplays
with
Ritchie.

I saw Blackmore's Night at
the Liverpool Philharmonic last September and
although Ritchie was in one of his more reflective moods I thought
that you
played a blinder! When Candice mentioned your name at the end
of the gig I
saw Ritchie applaud you! (Having followed the man from band to
band over the
past 30 years I was surprised, that's all!). ...
Anyway, many thanks for your
reply, and warm thanks to your wife and children
who have missed you so much while you've been away.
Best Wishes for the future
